Undergoing cancer treatment can be an emotionally, physically and mentally draining experience. Yet as difficult as this process can be, cancer patients oftentimes find themselves faced with another challenge once they've completed treatment: how to live life as a cancer survivor.

Dr. Anthony Perre, Vice Chief of Staff at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) in Philadelphia and Hodgkin's Lymphoma survivor, will be answering your questions and providing tips for thriving through survivorship. Some common topics in survivorship include:

  • Management of common side effects after completing cancer treatment
  • What follow-up care / monitoring for cancer recurrence is needed
  • Expected late effects of cancer treatment
  • Development of a wellness plan / prevention
  • Dr. Anthony Perre earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania (now known as Drexel University's College of Medicine). In addition to his special interest in cancer survivorship, his clinical expertise includes hospital medicine, venous thromboembolic disease and medical informatics. He has been recognized as a "Top Doctor" by Philadelphia magazine, and in 2013 was recognized as one of Castle Connolly's Top Doctors.
