Raquel Britton

Raquel has been singing the praises of the Lord from a very young age. Born into a family with a rich heritage and legacy of singing and preaching the Gospel, Raquel recognized her call to serve God’s people in song very early in life. She began singing in church at the tender age of two; leading and singing solos regularly. At twelve years old Raquel was appointed director of the youth choir at The Galilee Baptist Church. Under her leadership, the choir grew to over fifty members. After relocating to Atlanta, GA; Raquel became an intricate part of Changing A Generation Full Gospel Baptist Church’s music ministry under the leadership of Bishop Paul S Morton. She presently serves in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at Mt. Airy Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Bishop J Louis Felton where she works diligently in ministry and has also accepted her call to the ministry of the preached word.

Along with her work in her local church, Raquel has graduated Cum Laude from the Southern New Hampshire University with a bachelors in Creative Writing and English; and has received her Masters of Science in Education from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania, Graduate School of Education. Raquel is also an educator in the School District of Philadelphia, where she serves as a 9th Grade English teacher at the one and the only, George Washington High School. In every capacities that Raquel holds, her main goal is to be used by God in whatever form He desires to share His love and bring souls closer to Him.
