Treena Ferebee

Philadelphia native Treena Ferebee was born the youngest of 4 girls into a musical family and made to sing before she could even speak. At the age of 19 Treena began to travel the world with major recording artists as background vocalist. Treena has also met and had a chance to perform with legendary icons such as Stevie Wonder Prince and performances with Robert Glasper. She has made appearances on major TV shows including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late show with David Letterman and The Soul Train Music awards. Treena also became the first woman ever to hold the title of band director while continuing her role as Background vocalist. Now Treena, also known as TREE or Queen TREE, has taken on a solo career of her own. She has proudly been a solo performer for the Philadelphia Thanksgiving day parade for a total of 10 glorious years. This time around Treena is honored to perform in this year’s Parade as she teams up with the King of house music Terry Hunter and world renowned producer, pianist of the Tonight show with Jimmy Fallon and member of the legendary group ‘The Roots’ James Poyser, together known as “Julius Jordan”, to perform their single “Higher”!
