Julia Rae
Julia Rae is a 24-year-old singer, actress, host and model. She is thrilled to be making her 8th appearance as a featured performer in the 6ABC Thanksgiving Day Parade. Julia was crowned Miss Philadelphia 2015 in February, a local Miss America Organization preliminary competition. Julia’s original song "Be That Girl" is featured in the motion picture The Greening of Whitney Brown, starring Aidan Quinn, Brooke Shields and Kris Kristofferson. Julia has performed in the Miss America parade in Atlantic City, appeared on Radio Disney, sung the National Anthem at Major League Baseball games, and was a solo performer in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood. Julia has modeled in bridal shows, runway events and international print advertisements. A recent graduate of Fordham University, Julia is working and living in New York City. Billy Flanigan
Billy Flanigan is a graduate from the Boston Conservatory of Music where he received a BFA in Musical Theater. After graduation, Billy was hired by Walt Disney World where he continues to perform today. Billy has been seen in such shows as Tarzan Rocks, Broadway at the Top, The Hoop Dee Doo Revue and currently performs in Finding Nemo the Musical. Perhaps his claim to fame at Disney was when he played Barbie’s beau, Ken in the Magical World of Barbie.
Billy has become a regular at Philadelphia’s 6ABC/Dunkin’ Donut’s Thanksgiving Day Parade where he sings and entertains the crowds throughout the parade.
The big and small screens are no strangers to Billy as he has appeared in the feature film Dream Trap and television shows such as Superboy, Keenen and Kel and HBO’s From The Earth To The Moon. Billy has even been seen showing his pearly whites in an Aquafresh commercial.
Billy’s favorite roll to date is Dad to his 4 kids and Papa to his 3 grandchildren.
Davonda Simmons
Ms. Simmons is a multifaceted entertainer. She has captivated audiences with her unique style of Jazz, Rhythm & Blues, Classical, and Broadway genres for more than 25 years. She honed her skills and received her Bachelor of Music from Florida International University, Miami, Florida.
DaVonda Simmons has headlined in some of Florida’s hottest entertainment venues. In the Miami area, she has performed at the Fontainebleau Hilton Hotel, the famous Forge Restaurant, and O’Hara’s Jazz Club, to name a few. Most recently her appearances have included The Grand Bohemian Hotel, The Peabody Orlando, The Blue Zoo, City Jazz at Universal Studios, the Blue Martini in Tampa, Florida, Hyatt Hotel Orlando and Sapphire Falls Hotel Orlando, Florida.
Ms. Simmons’ experience as an all-around entertainer has contributed to her success and extensive work for the Walt Disney World Company. She has appeared as a principal performer and special guest artist for Walt Disney Entertainment for more than 20 years. She has had the pleasure of being the opening act for such greats as Joe Williams, Diane Schuur, Marvin Hamlisch, Lionel Hampton, Arturo Sandoval, Chuck Mangione, Rosemary Clooney, Della Reese, Nell Carter, Rita Moreno, Carol Channing, and many others. She also appeared with John Davidson in Disney’s Christmas Day Parade. Ms. Simmons performs as a recurring special guest artist on the ABC Network for Philadelphia’s Fourth of July and the ABC 6/Dunkin Donuts Thanksgiving Day parades, as well as, The National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade in Washington D.C. During the 2004 Daytona 500 Pre-Race Show, she had the privilege of performing the opening production for the President of the United States.
Ms. Simmons’ abilities to tailor her shows has led to numerous convention performances for major clients such as IBM, Pfizer, Lockheed Martin, BankAtlantic, and others. In addition, she currently produces, directs, and is a principal performer in one of Central Florida’s hottest gospel ensembles. She has recorded voice-over performances for Visa USA, Reading Is Fundamental Foundation, Charisma Productions, Walt Disney World Company, and The Children’s Television Network. She is also the May 1998 winner of the nationally televised “ShowTime at the Apollo.” Presently, Ms. Simmons is appearing as a principal in “The Dooley and Pals Show,” a syndicated children’s television show airing on PBS and TBN.
She has made frequent worldwide appearances as a headline entertainer aboard the many ships operated by Cunard Crown Cruise Line. In her one-woman show, Ms. Simmons takes audiences on a musical journey that includes the nostalgia of the Swing Era, the pop sounds of Motown R&B, and favorite Broadway showstoppers.
As a studio vocalist, Ms. Simmons’ rich dynamic voice has been heard on pop albums, gospel CDs, and commercial jingles for more than 20 years. She has sung back-up vocals on recordings for artist such as Vanessa L. Williams, Jermaine Jackson, Expose’, Gloria Estefan, and Irene Cara. Most recently, her vocal talents can be heard in “Zarkana”, a Cirque du Soleil production. She has recorded various commercial and promotional jingles for Chevrolet, Lynx, Magic 107FM, Disney - MGM Studios, Disney Institute, and Amscot, to name a few.
Ms. Simmons’ received rave reviews for her musical theatre performances as Effie White in Dreamgirls at the Burt Reynolds Jupiter Theatre in Jupiter Florida, and principal roles in shows such as Sweet Charity, The Wiz, The Festival Of The Lion King and Menopause the Musical.
LeMont Mears
LeMont Mears’s compelling vocals, rich tone and beautiful musicality are all found in his songs, which are an effective reminder of LeMont’s place as a top gospel artist. LeMont’s music has uplifted gospel audiences throughout the USA and as far away as Japan. LeMont, a native of New Jersey who now resides in Philadelphia Pennsylvania is a member of the Grammy nominated and Stellar Award winning Wilmington Chester Mass Choir as well as a gifted soloist and gospel-recording artist himself. His career in the music field covers not only church but also the theatrical stage.
Jenny Lee Stern
JENNY LEE STERN is a Doylestown, PA native and Broadway Veteran. She has appeared on the Great White Way in ROCKY & A CHRISTMAS STORY, and has toured the country in JERSEY BOYS. Off-Broadway Jenny garnered critical acclaim in FORBIDDEN BROADWAY: ALIVE & KICKING for her portrayals of Judy Garland, Patti Lupone, Bernadette Peters, and more. Recent local credits include HIGH SOCIETY at Walnut Street Theatre. She will star in Montgomery Theatre's production of THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK CHRISTMAS this holiday season, then return to the Walnut this spring playing the title role in ALWAYS...PATSY CLINE. TV credits range from THE SOPRANOS to THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA starring Debra Messing.
USO Show Troupe
The USO Show Troupe is part of an American tradition that goes back over 70 years to its beginnings in the muddy camp shows of the South Pacific. Today, the pride and passion that fueled that early music lives on through the USO Show Troupe. With over 350 live annual performances, the Troupe entertains approximately 600,000 service members and their families around the world.
To meet the individual needs of each client, shows are individually customized by our acclaimed production team. With a roster of 56 professional male and female performers hailing from Broadway and Off-Broadway shows such as: Honeymoon in Vegas, Pippin, Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark, Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia, Sister Act, The Addams Family, West Side Story, Peter and the Starcatcher, and In the Heights, the Troupe can perform in multiple group sizes ranging from 4 to 36. The Troupe possesses a broad repertoire that includes 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, Disco, Motown, Country, Broadway, holiday as well as current Top 40. Additionally, the Troupe maintains a separate repertoire for live big band and symphonic performances.
For the military community, performances include deployment, homecoming and family appreciation events, commissionings, christenings, retirements, and change of commands at venues such as military hospitals, veteran’s homes, VFWs, American Legions, parades, Fleet Weeks and Air Shows around the world, to name a few.
Keystone State Boy Choir and the Pennsylvania Girl Choir
The Pennsylvania Girlchoir and Keystone State Boychoir, are brother-sister choirs made up of more than 300 young people between the ages of eight and eighteen who are proud to be musical ambassadors for our city, our state, and our nation. Here at home they sing over 60 concerts a season in venues ranging from underserved schools, retirement homes and places of worship, to Philadelphia’s major venues - including the Mann Center and the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. They are proud to be the official girlchoir and boychoir of Opera Philadelphia and have appeared with the Philadelphia Orchestra on numerous occasions. They have sung on Broadway, at Carnegie Hall, in an NFL Film, and can be heard on Microsoft’s latest Halo5 video game. They have performed for presidents, peace prize winners, and popes. In 2009, they made history as the first and only choral organization in history to sing in Antarctica. In doing so, they became the only one to have sung on all seven continents. Nearly 50 years have passed since those days in the early 60s when the Beatles invaded and captured the hearts of America and the world. The Beat Tells, a Bucks County based band whose origins and members are from Philly, bring those days back to life with their exciting tribute show of The Beatles Live performances. They play all the hit songs, played the way they were played, sung the way they were sung, in the original costumes, using vintage instruments and with Liverpudlian glee!
The Beat Tells have been featured on NBC TV, Fox TV, WMGK radio’s Breakfast with the Beatles, The Philadelphia Inquirer and Philly.com and have performed frequently at the Borgata Casino Hotel, The Sugarhouse Casino, Welcome America Block party at Independence Hall, The Battleship New Jersey 4th of July celebrations, The Paul McCartney Pre-Party at the Wells Fargo Center, Penn’s Landing Tall Ships Festivals, Wiggins Park and many private and corporate parties in the Delaware Valley and beyond.
In the Thanksgiving parade they are performing the only officially written and recorded Beatle’s Christmas song called “Christmas Time is Here Again”.
Treena Ferebee & Sounds of Soar
Philadelphia native Treena Ferebee founded The Sounds of Soar or S.O.S. in 2010 after a constant request by many different recording artist, producers, churches and venues to find talented musicians, singers and actors to perform or accompany Artist their shows and events in emergency situations. Since then people took a liking to the sound and begin to book S.O.S. For events and ceremonies. Soar's motto is to be "Dedicated to uplifting audiences throughout the world with music as their common language." With this goal in mind they have been able to expand in their creativity through many different genres of music and performance. So far the "Sounds of Soar" or S. O. S. and Treena Ferebee has been honored to have made appearances and performances with recording Artist Vivian green, opening for Mary Mary Donnie McClurkin and Fred Hammond at boardwalk hall in Atlantic City, performances at Warm daddy's Jazz Cafe in Philadelphia, Independence Day Parade in Philadelphia 2012-2014, The Thanksgiving day parade 2011, 2012 and 2014, The Cherry Blossom Parade 2012 - 2014 and now they are proud to be back and joining the 96th anniversary of the Thanksgiving day parade in Philadelphia!

Harmony Show Choir is a vibrant ensemble that aims to create energetic and entertaining shows that excite our audiences. Our shows are meant to inspire people to sing, to dance, to laugh, to think, and to enrich our audiences’ lives through music and dance.
The ensemble is made up of 45 talented and dynamic high school performers auditioned to perform an array of music and dance.

Pennsbury High School Herald Trumpets
With performances on five Continents and at all five Disneylands, the Pennsbury High School Marching Band, nicknamed The “Long Orange Line,” is internationally recognized as one of the premier High School Marching Bands in the United States. The Band has the distinction of being the only band on the planet to have performed at all 5 Disneylands including Orlando, Florida; Anaheim, California; Tokyo, Japan; Paris, France; Hong Kong, China as well as in Tianamen Square and on the Great Wall of China. In 2008, the Pennsbury Marching Band was the featured half-time performers for the International Rugby Tournament “Hong Kong Sevens” in Hong Kong, China. In 2010, the “Long Orange Line” traveled to England to perform in the London New Year’s Day Parade. In 2012, the Pennsbury Marching Band traveled for the first time south of the equator for the “1st International Festival of Military and Civilian Bands” in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In March of 2016 the Band traveled to Australia and participated in the Royal Easter Parade in Sydney, Australia. The Long Orange Line on Thanksgiving Day will have performed for the 33rd consecutive year in the 6ABC Thanksgiving Day Parade. On January 1st, 2018 the Long Orange Line will be performing in the Tournament of Roses parade in Pasadena, California.

This group was put together for the purpose of highlighting the exceptional vocal talent of students within many different majors.
